Long Shadows chapter
As a veteran of the Vietnam War, I was invited to contribute a chapter in Long Shadows, an anthology of veterans’ stories spanning the Spanish Civil War to Iraq, edited by David Giffey. The historian Howard Zinn wrote the introduction and a total of 19 veterans wrote about orienting toward peace and away from militarism. Download chapter here.
